Overview

PhotoshootMaker is a product of Cloud Dream, LLC. This policy explains what Cloud Dream, LLC ("we") collects when you use PhotoshootMaker at photoshootmaker.com (the "Service"), why we collect it and the choices you have. We collect only what the Service needs to work, and we never sell personal data.

What we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we process the following information.

  • Account: Google sign-in is provided through Clerk. Clerk stores your email address, name and Google account connection under its own privacy policy. We receive a stable user ID and your email address so we can attach your work and credits to you.
  • Your photos: the photos you upload, saved in My Photos so you can reuse them, and the photoshoots made from them. They are stored privately with your account so you can download them later, and are not used for anything else (see "Reference photos" below).
  • Credits and payments: a ledger of every credit grant, charge and refund on your account. Payments are processed by Stripe, which handles your card details. We receive the order status, amount, currency and a customer reference, never your full card number.
  • Technical data: request logs needed to run and protect the Service, such as IP address, browser type and timestamps. They are kept for a limited time and used only for security and reliability.
  • How you found us: when you create an account, we store the campaign tags of the link you arrived from (such as utm_source), the website that referred you (its domain only) and the first page you visited. Until you sign up this stays in your browser tab and is not sent to us. It is kept with your account, included in your data export and deleted with your account.
  • Optional analytics: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load only after you allow analytics in the privacy panel. Clarity is never loaded on sign-in or studio pages. Error monitoring, when configured, removes request data and user details before a report reaches Sentry.

How we use it

  • To sign you in, keep your work together and let you download it.
  • To run tasks you submit, charge the credits shown before submission and refund failed tasks.
  • To process purchases, issue receipts and keep the accounting records the law requires.
  • To secure the Service, prevent abuse and fix errors.
  • To understand how the public pages are used, only if you allow analytics.
  • To learn which channels bring new customers, from the first-party signup source described above. It is never shared with advertising networks.
  • To send email about your own account: receipts, task results and security notices. We do not send marketing email without a separate opt-in.

Reference photos

  • The photos you upload are used only to generate your own photoshoots. They are sent with each scene to our image generation providers (listed below) only to make that photo. We do not use them to train models, show them publicly or share them with other users.
  • Only upload photos you have the right to use, of yourself or of adults (18 or older) who have agreed to it. You confirm you have that right before your first upload.
  • Uploaded photos are saved in My Photos (up to 10) so you can reuse them in later photoshoots. Each one is deleted automatically 7 days after upload, or sooner when you delete it there or delete your account.
  • Finished photoshoots are kept for 7 days. After that their photos are deleted automatically and the photoshoot leaves your studio, so download the ones you want to keep.

Cookies and local storage

Strictly necessary storage keeps you signed in, remembers your privacy choice, whether you collapsed the studio sidebar, that you confirmed the age and consent statement before uploading photos, and which photoshoot you were opening while you sign in. It is set without consent because the Service needs it to work as you asked.

Optional analytics cookies are set only after you allow analytics. You can change your choice at any time with "Manage cookie preferences" on this page or from Settings in your studio. Declining or withdrawing consent stops the scripts from loading.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with the providers that run the Service, each acting on our instructions:

  • Cloudflare: hosting, the database, file storage and, when enabled, email delivery.
  • OpenRouter and OpenAI: image generation from your reference photos and the scene you chose (OpenRouter routes the request to OpenAI’s image model).
  • Clerk: accounts and sign-in.
  • Stripe: payments, receipts and subscription billing.
  • Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity: usage analytics, only with your consent.
  • Sentry: error reports with request data and user details removed, when configured.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of users. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Your account, saved work and credit balance remain while your account exists. When your account is deleted, your work and personal details are removed within 30 days, except for records we must keep for accounting, tax or fraud prevention, which are kept only as long as those obligations require.

Analytics data follows the retention period configured with each provider. Technical logs are kept for a limited time and then deleted.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict some processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can download your data and delete your account yourself under Settings in the studio, and change your analytics choice on this Privacy Policy page. To exercise any other right, contact us. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The Service is for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and photos of minors must not be uploaded. We do not knowingly collect children’s data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. The date at the top shows the current version. For material changes we will give notice on the site or by email before they take effect.
